Tonight at Wingfield Park is Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys! CAJUN music! I’m so ready for this one! :) This concert is part of the World Music Series.

Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys set the standard for modern Cajun music with more than 20 years of playing together and a reputation for excellence. Complete with a button box warm crackling fiddle guitar and rhythm section that keeps the toes tapping the band revels with a hot two-step before turning on a dime to deliver an a cappella ballad. And it’s all combined with lyrics in 17th century French that’ll make you feel like you’re in the backwaters of Louisiana.

  1. On occasion. We love the zoo, the Aquarium of the Americas and the French Quarter.
