Start of a Batik Grandma’s Flower Garden quilt

Not sure how big I’m going to get this…it’s now 12″x18″ in size. I find I like hand-stitching these guys using the English Paper Piecing method…until my CT kicks in and my hand goes numb. LOL! I thought I was using 1″ hexies, but looks to be 2″ from tip to tip (1.75″ from flat side to flat side).

Sometimes hand stitching can be relaxing.

  2. Good for you. Wish I had the time/patience/interest for all that hand stitching. This will have to be a keeper surely?
