Galena Creek Jones Whites Creek Trail

Easter Day we decided to take a short hike at Galena Creek Park…we’ve been on the trail before but could never find the Jones Creek Loop (only a 1.7 mile loop)…we always keep going North and a tad East.

We parked at the Jones Creek Trailhead and ended up at the Whites Creek Trail intersection before turning back…started too late in the day and didn’t take enough water to hike 9.2 miles (our hike ended up being 5 miles round trip). Lots of people and dogs were out and about, some on mountain bikes.

Plants are starting to bloom along the trail.

Next time I’d like to start earlier, take a lot more water, and head west to Church’s Pond.

    Beautiful!

  2. Your shot, “Heading north to the Whites Creek Trail.” reminds me of landscapes I’ve seen from Australia or Africa. Beautiful pix – the flowers look exotic too! :D

  3. Thank you, Ladies! I was thinking the same thing April.
