FOR TODAY … 04 January 2012.
Outside My Window… Q&D Construction setting up a holding fence to hold supplies for something they’re building on campus. Sunny blue sky with a few high clouds.
I am thinking… I still have quilting to do and don’t want to be here at work. Patooey.
I am thankful for… my friends.
From the kitchen… Last night was chicken tacos, tonight? I’m thinking pizza…with chicken sausage, squash, onions, mushrooms and a balsamic olive oil sauce.
I am wearing… jeans, tennis shoes, a purple long sleeved henley.
I am creating… I’m quilting the Jiffy Ric-Rac (a Camille Roskelley pattern). I’m doing echoes around the rid-rac in the white areas.
I am going… to have to go shopping at lunch today… it seems that we are out of copy paper and fax ink.
I am reading… The House of Silk ~ a Sherlock Holmes novel by Anthony Horowitz. Am loving it!
I am hoping… that Reva and Mary heal fast after their surgeries.
I am hearing… Construction beeps. Lab doors slamming.
Around the house… A “new” couch! We found a lazy-boy couch that reclines on both sides at our local Goodwill store for $149. In beautiful shape, practically brand new! So…my husband had us rearrange the furniture over the weekend.
One of my favorite things… this iMac here at work. It’s the only thing I missed while gone. LOL!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… try to finish quilting the rid-rac quilt.
Here is a picture thought I’d share with you…
A Christmas gift from my husband…a hand-blown glass glow in the dark jelly fish.
