My mom and sister are either very brave or not right in the head…still debating that one. They took on a lot of 8 year old girls (6 of them stayed and camped overnight) for my niece’s birthday party on Saturday at Davis Creek Park out in Washoe Valley.
When I got there we started making walking sticks out of 5/8″ wooden dowels. We wrapped hemp rope around the area where we would hold the stick and then painted, beaded, and added feathers. It lasted about 2 hours. Then was cupcake decorating and opening presents. I only have pictures of the crafting part…had to get back home before the rest of the party was over.
