I really have no clue why the Eurofest was moved to Reno from Sparks…I hate the Sands Regency and we used to be able to walk to the one held in Sparks. 😦 BUT…The
Young Dubliners are here tonight and Saturday night and I heard that Eric Rigler (pipes and tin whistle) will be touring with them in June, so will suck it up and go have some fun. They play both nights from 7 pm to 10 pm. IT’S FREE!!! So go on down, dance in the jig pit, drink a pint, and have a great time listening to the best live band!
Don’t forget the May Arboretum’s Plant Sale up at Rancho San Rafael! I can’t remember but I think it starts around 7am or 8am. I’ll probably be hitting yard sales at that time though…I’ve finished planting for the spring.
Harvested my first strawberries last night ~ ROFL! A whopping TWO of ’em. They were very tasty.
Lookie at the wee budgie that came and visited us last night! Someone is missing this sweet thing…I stayed out and talked to it until it flew off with a blackbird. I hope she/he found it’s way home.
More UNR Cairns at sunrise ~
Looks like we’re going to have to put up our Do Not Park Here signs up this weekend ~
