FOR TODAY … 16 June 2008
Outside My Window…Students walking to their cars for late lunch, construction workers taking a lunch break.
I am thinking…Sure would like to be home getting the bbq ready for dinner tonight; why did I come back to the office after taking a lunch at a local park.
I am thankful for…having the job that I would rather not be at today.
From the kitchen…Chicken marinating; Bulgur Salad; toasted garlic bread; iced sun tea
I am wearing…Tan cropped jeans, brown linen tank, berks
I am creating…alternating a sun dress I bought at Savers that was too big, but very lovely!
I am going…make a batch of cold processed soap, just need to figure out what smelly I want to make it.
I am reading…a Bobby Flay cookbook and rereading one of my 1960’s Charlie Brown paperback and a Janette Oke book I picked up at a yardsale.
I am hoping…that my husband can find a job that he likes and stick with it.
I am hearing…the humming of the vents in the ceiling; my coworkers; someone’s cell phone ringing off the hook.
Around the house…there are lots of dust bunnies, they are gathering under my bed and I’m just sure that they will catch me and pull me under soon.
One of my favorite things…taking pictures of my plants and flowers.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:make soap & lip balm, walk longer in the mornings, plant more radishes
Here is picture thought I am sharing…Poppies in my front yard
Ok ~ I think I followed all the rules, now off to post this and copy the url to “Mr. Linky” LOL!
The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.
Here’s how to take part:
1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them forthe purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)
2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, notthe link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking throughthe entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.
3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
