FOR TODAY … 23 June 2008
Outside My Window…Smoke from a fire in eastern Nevada.
I am thinking…Stupid smoke! I can’t take my walk now! Can’t wait for our trip to Monterey Aquarium in July…miss the ocean. Hope there is no fires there.
I am thankful for…Having a roof over my head still…there were a lot of semi-homeless walking the alley this morning going through everyone’s recycle-bins.
From the kitchen…No food, just soy wax and fragrance oils from candle making last night for one of my summer swaps.
I am wearing…Tan cropped jeans, brown linen tank, berks! Geez…it’s that same thing I had on last Monday…only I have a pretty copper and raku glass bracelet on made by
Clare, a fellow crafter in the
I am creating…Soy candles; photograph note cards; dirty feet.
I am going…clean out the shed for an upcoming yard sale.
I am reading…The Best
Worst Halloween Ever by Barbara Robinson. Yes, I have a thing about children’s books.
I am hoping…that my husband can find a job that he likes and stick with it.
I am hearing…Atlantic Sound Factory on iTunes Radio ~ they’re playing Home Again by Dirty Vegas.
Around the house…there are boxes collecting items for a yard sale.
One of my favorite things…taking pictures of my plants, flowers and family. Pumpkin vines.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:buy a flat of strawberries to try my hand at making jam.
Here is picture thought I am sharing…My niece, Hannah…I tricked her by saying I wasn’t taking her picture anymore, so she peeked out behind her hands.
