FOR TODAY … 21 July 2008
AM A DAY LATE ~ Yesterday was my birthday and I took the day off…so I’ll look back and reflect on the day! 🙂
Outside My Window…there is a Northern Mockingbird singing, Sparrows & Finches on the bird feeder and Scrub Jays eating their goobers..
I am thinking…Good grief it’s gonna be hot again today…sure hope we can have another thunderstorm like on Sunday night..
I am thankful for… still having a job in today’s economy.
From the kitchen…There is squash just picked from the garden…but I’ll be taking those into work as today we’ll be going out to a big lunch with a light salad for dinner.
I am wearing… Brown linen tank top and tan crop pants, bare foot.
I am creating… a beaded necklace to hang a piece of sea glass that I found at Monterey..I wire wrapped it with copper wire.
I am going… to lunch with my husband (2-for-1 coupon at the Cantina on B-Street) and then to Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3-D.
I am reading… Still reading The Witch Trade…a children’s book by Michael Molloy.
I am hoping… that my husband can find a job real quick as he is out of work again.
I am hearing… the Young Dubliners on my ipod as I bead.
Around the house… there are beads on the floor…wee buggers keep jumping out of my hand! Naughty beads!
One of my favorite things… is a glass of iced tea with a lemon slice, no sugar and a ceiling fan in the front sunroom listening to my ipod and watching the birdies now and again while beading.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… find more beaded necklaces at the Goodwill store so I can take them apart and use them in my own necklaces.
Here is picture thought I am sharing… Wee bees that I found in a sunflower that just opened up! Are they cute, or what!?
The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.

2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, notthe link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking throughthe entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.
