FOR TODAY … 28 July 2008
Outside My Window…A smoke filled morning sky. A train going by.
I am thinking…Not much of anything…my brain is mushed from not enough sleep and too much time in the Juniper War Zone.
I am thankful for… my feather bed and pillows.
From the kitchen… Blueberry and Strawberry jam that is ready to put away until Christmas. And carrots that I pulled from the garden.
I am wearing… Brown and tan stripe dress, berks and my beaded necklace with a wire wrapped sea glass.
I am creating… a bracelet for myself and re-stringing a necklace for my mom.
I am going… to just veg today…
I am reading…
Dear America - A Light in the Storm: The Civil War Diary of Amelia Martin, Fenwick Island, Delaware, 1861 Dear America .
I am hoping… that my husband can find a job real quick as he is out of work again.
I am hearing… loud talking next door (at work) and the hum of the chillers.
Around the house… dirty shoes and clothes covered in Junipers at the door…time to clean the side sunroom and do laundry.
One of my favorite things… eating right out of the garden.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… make Pepper Jelly or Jam.
Here is picture thought I’d share with you… One of my wee pumpkins that will be carved this Halloween! 🙂
The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.
Here’s how to take part:

2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, notthe link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking throughthe entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.
