FOR TODAY … 05 January 2009
Outside My Window… Grey cloudy day…looks like rain or snow is in the near future. Construction workers looking for their coffee. A face smudge on my window! Looks like someone else has been watching the construction workers! LOL!
I am thinking… I need to go to the AT&T store here on campus to ask a few questions about my new phone.
I am thankful for… my country and my home.
From the kitchen… Ham and bean soup with whole wheat dinner rolls.
I am wearing… blue jeans, tennies, and a fuzzy grey rolled sweater, hair up in a ponytail.
I am creating… Still more scarves! I’ve finished 6 and working on more. My mom gave me one to add to the pile that will be going to the Kids Kottage.
I am going… to Ben Franklin’s at lunch today to pick up some soft black yarn. After our walk yesterday around the Marina, my husband gave in and asked for me to crochet him a scarf. His face was cold and mine was nice and cozy. 🙂
I am reading… blogs, the newspaper, will start reading a book my mom loaned me about a Lab that adopted someone in a National Park…hopefully I won’t have to keep a box of kleenex nearby like I did while reading Marley & Me.
I am hoping… I can get through the online manual for my new phone.
I am hearing… We gone from the autoclave alarm from last week to a -40 Freezer this week…Beep…Beep…Beep…Beep…Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppp!
Around the house… rearranged furniture…again. Husband is home with no work. I’m sure the furniture will be different once I get home this evening.
One of my favorite things… a cat’s content purr.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… more crocheting. Have to make some candles for an upcoming baby shower. They want soy candles in baby food jars.
Here is a picture thought I’d share with you…

The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.
Here’s how to take part:
1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)
2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.
3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
