FOR TODAY … 17 February 2009
Outside My Window… Chilly, light snow on the ground, bit of ice…lots of clouds. More snow on the way…YOU GO SNOW! Drop more on those mountains! I want WATER this summer!
I am thinking… I sorta miss my online connection at home.
I am thankful for… my family.
From the kitchen… Two new recipes…I tried Low-Fat Blueberry Lemon Scones, Multi-grain bread…and old standby’s ~ lentil soup with ham and veggies. (Ham leftover from Saturdays ham dinner…I had a ham in the freezer since Christmas)
I am wearing… blue jeans, tennies, fuzzy grey pullover with rolled neck…same thing as last Monday.
I am creating… crocheted cotton wash/dish cloths.
I am going… to call my old boss to set a date for lunch this week.
I am reading… gardening books, Hobby Farm Home, old beading and quilting magazines.
I am hoping… that I finally got myself organized enough to start back into my wire wrapping…I’ve some pendants that I want to make.
I am hearing… quiet. Nice quiet.
Around the house… A sunroom bench covered with my silver and copper wires, beads, glass, hammer and sketches.
One of my favorite things… a nice long hot bubble bath in my cast iron claw tub with all the candles burning and Dahlia on the radio…I had a very relaxing evening last night. Big sigh.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… wire wrapping and start up some fancy stitches on the crazy quilt.
Here is a picture thought I’d share with you…
I think I’m going to share a video of Green Day instead ~ another favorite song.
The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.
Here’s how to take part:
1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)
2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.
3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
