FOR TODAY … 23 April 2009
Outside My Window… Pretty day…sunny with increasing clouds. A “cool” front is coming. A really big tonka toy is outside my window. The construction guys are doing something really close to our building.
I am thinking… my brain is spinning to fast to think.
I am thankful for… my job, even though it’s been crazy here.
From the kitchen… Leftover pizza, but I may stop off to get some fresh veggies and make some lentil soup.
I am wearing… Blue jeans, 3/4 sleaved maroon shirt, tennis shoes, hair pulled back into a ponytail.
I am creating… Sheesh…same as last time ~ I really need to start back up on the crazy quilt. My mom is waiting for my last four blocks.
I am going… no where fast.
I am reading… the Secret Life of Bees at night.
I am hoping… My constant wish ~ That everyone that is looking for a job, finds one.
I am hearing… What sounds like a Huey Gunship sitting on top of the building…not sure what they are doing outside the building, but it sure is loud.
Around the house… laundry and dishes.
One of my favorite things… Sleeping with the window open. It’s been warmer at night now.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… Work in the yard, maybe go look for springtime flowers to take some pictures.
Here is a picture thought I’d share with you…
This is Olivia, my Garden Bug. I found her at a yard sale over the weekend.
The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.
Here’s how to take part:
1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)
2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.
3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
