For Today ~ 4 December 2009 ~ Simple Woman’s Daybook

FOR TODAY … 4 December 2009

Outside My Window… Hmmm…in a different office now. I see a hallway…and there are double doors leading outside. See a tree and a recycle can. 🙂 Looks like difused sunlight. I do know it was bloody cold this morning.

I am thinking… I hope I get the house that I found for rent on a 1/3 acre.

I am thankful for… I’ll get back to you on this one…

From the kitchen… Will be making more fudge and some sort of cookie.

I am wearing… grey fuzzy pullover, blue jeans, tennies.

I am creating… A small quilt for someone…not saying what or for who…just in case they read this.

I am going… to check out redbox and see what videos that have, maybe do a movie marathon.

I am reading… the newspaper, old quilt magazines, and pattern books.

I am hoping… My constant wish ~ That everyone that is looking for a job, finds one.

I am hearing… Students and techs coming in the front door, a coworker whining about people, me typing, and Dave Matthews on my pandora radio station.

Around the house… boxes…I’ve been packing.

One of my favorite things… a good belly laugh…thanks, Colleen! 🙂

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… sew, pack, bake.

Here is a picture thought I’d share with you…

My “new” sterling silver tailor’s thimble!

I'm Michelle and live in Northern Nevada ~ beautiful mix of high desert and the Sierra. While I work at the University, I'd rather take pictures, play with fountain pensioned ink, garden, cook, craft and make quilts. :)

    So… you are really moving?

  4. Belinda says:

I didn’t know you were moving. Why? Are you selling your house?

  5. I use the thimble while hand sewing…I like it much better than having a regular one.
