The Great Backyard Bird Count is nearing…February 12th through the 15th is the annual bird watch hosted by the National Audubon Society and Cornell Lab of Orthology.
1 – Plan to count birds for at least 15 minutes on one or more days of the count.
2 – Count the greatest number of individuals of each species that you see together at any one time.
3 – When you’re finished, enter your results through GBBC’s web page. The count will remain active until the data deadline on March 1st, 2010.

PHOTO CONTEST RULES ~ There will be three judges each from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society who will review all entries. All winners and finalists will be posted on the GBBC web site.
