For Today ~ 17 February 2010 ~ Simple Woman’s Daybook

FOR TODAY … 17 February 2010

Outside My Window… SUNNY! With a few high clouds. SUN!!!! SUNNNNNY!

I am thinking… Wow…SUN! Hee! Am all a’giddy! SUN!

I am thankful for… for my health, even if the snot won’t go away and the cough is still with me.

From the kitchen… I have leftover ribeye that I bbq’d on Monday…maybe I’ll make steak tacos with it.

I am wearing… Jeans, tennies, and a brown t-shirt top, hair in ponytail.

I am creating… quilts. I’ve finished the Hushabye, am binding the Wonky Squares, and I’m cutting out a Ladybug Pinwheel.

I am going… to quilt when I get home from work. Call my sister to see if she’s here at work so we can go to lunch…geez, it’s been 5 days since I’ve seen her.

I am reading… quilt books and the new Hobby Farm magazine.

I am hoping… My constant wish ~ That everyone that is looking for a job, finds one. (Keep fingers crossed and send up a prayer…my husband is finished his second month of work, and still liking it!)

I am hearing… The ice machine, liquid nitrogen tank hissing like crazy…me thinks it has a leak, people coming into work and slamming doors.

Around the house… a rug that needs to be vacuumed…still not used to carpet throughout the house.

One of my favorite things… Sunshine. Making things for people. A smile on faces.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… Quilt. Vacuum. Quilt.

Here is a picture thought I’d share with you… The fabric for the new quilt I’m cutting out now.

  1. Love the fabrics! So fresh and pretty.

Should, um, I be worried that my friend is sitting by a leaky liquid nitrogen tank?
