FOR TODAY … 25 March 2010
Outside My Window… Grey and cold. The wind howled last night and brought freezing rain and snow. Grrrr….I hate springtime in Nevada, because it’s the same as winter!
I am thinking… My friend April is a meanie by not opening her new machine up and sending me a picture. 😛
I am thankful for… that it’s my “Friday”…I have furlough tomorrow, so I can sew.
From the kitchen… Chicken or Carnitas tacos. Not sure which I’m going to make tonight.
I am wearing… Jeans, tennies, and a 3/4 length blue tee, hair down.
I am creating… a pincushion, quilting ideas.
I am going… razz April until she logs off of YM to ignore me.
I am reading… Gee’s Bend Quilt book that I bought off of Amazon.
I am hoping… My constant wish ~ That everyone that is looking for a job, finds one.
I am hearing… me typing, the ice machine, April laughinhg at me.
Around the house… laundry…and a sewing room ready for me to start quilting, as soon as I move the veggie seeds that I started off of the sewing machine table.
One of my favorite things… The ocean…even with grey skies.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… go to Windy Moon Quilts and spend my $15 credit. Take my mystery quilt to Ben Franklin.
Here is a picture thought I’d share with you…
The Sutro Bath Ruins at Lincoln Park in San Francisco…I took this photograph on 21 March 2010.
A photograph I found of the Sutro Baths during it’s heyday…

Hee hee! My satisfactorily tested machine sends her greetings to Auntie Michelle and her Threadbanger cousin. 😉
That picture is really neat. It seems you had great conditions to get some wonderful seaside pix!
;))
“Grrrr….I hate springtime in Nevada, because it’s the same as winter!”
You too lol???? It was a balmy 19 degrees this morning!
I say carnitas, because that just sounds mouth watering to me right now!
I hate Springtime around here too. Well, “hate” is an awfully strong word, so, I’ll just say I DESPISE and LOATHE the way the weather teases by warming up a bit and then has a nasty, heartbreaking, biting, chill this time of year.
