For Today ~ 12 September 2010 ~ A Simple Woman’s Daybook

FOR TODAY … 12 September 2010

Outside My Window… Early evening sunlight. The sun is starting on it’s track south.

I am thinking… It’s too warm! Mid 80’s is just way too warm…I want 65F-70F days and in the 40’s for the lows! Giant’s had a great game in San Diego earlier today! Timmy even had 2 RBI’s! WooHoo! Enjoy your day off on Monday, Boys! Wonder whatever happened to some of the people that I met in 4-H camp…found a picture from 1984 camp up at Lake Tahoe.

I am thankful for… Friends, Family, and a roof over my head.

From the kitchen… Nothing tonight. Last night was artichokes and a pasta I whipped up with peppers, tomatoes, onion, and mango haberano chicken sausage.

I am wearing… Shorts, a baseball jersey, barefoot, hair up in ponytail.

I am creating… open space down in the basement. 🙂 Just cleaned out 5 boxes…two trashbags…and took pics of some hand-dyed wool and wool felt to put up on ebay.

I am going… to go grab myself a glass of iced tea. BRB!

I am reading… nothing…waiting patiently for Stephen King’s The Colorado Kid to come in the mail.

I am hoping… that I figure out what type of cell phone I want in the next few months…I have AT&T and am leaning towards the Blackberry Torch.

I am hearing… The Cowboys & Redskins game on TV. A train going by. Dog barking next door…stupid yapping arse!

Around the house… clean sheets on the bed, laundry done, cats laying in the sun, roses in a vase.

One of my favorite things… The ocean. I’m missing the ocean again. I FEEL THE NEED FOR SALTY AIR!

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… not really sure.

Here is a picture thought I’d share with you… Leo in the late afternoon sun.

Also…a video! I just love Direct Tv’s football commercials. One of my favorites:

  1. Glad you got your book, girlie! Happy phone shopping. 😀 I just LOVE doing that. 😉

Yes, ocean air is addictive. I hear SF is lovely in autumn. I’m just sayin’…
