FOR TODAY … 08 November 2010

Outside My Window… Snow up in the mountains! Leaves on the ground. It be chilly! 36F right now at 7:34 am.

I am thinking… I really enjoyed my trip to Apple Hill by myself. My Pontiac G6 GT sure drove nice up and down the Sierra…it loves twisties! 🙂

I’m also thinking that my Buffalo Bills look a lot better than an 0-8 team. Big sigh. Sure wish we played the Cowboys…we could pick up a game! ROFL!

I am thankful for…all the quilts I made! I love piling them on and crawling underneath them with the window open…makes for a nice sleep.

From the kitchen…Left over tri-tip and sauteed mushrooms.

I am wearing… Jeans, tennies, grey 3/4-sleaved shirt, pony tail frozen from cold.

I am creating… I finished all of the blocks for the ‘All Patched Up’ quilt I’m working on, just need to square them up and then I can start sewing the quilt top together.

I am going… to turn the heater on under my desk…it’s a bit nippy here at work.

I am reading… a Michael Perry book, and all the magazines that I’ve been bombarded with. I’m not sure how I get onto mailing lists as I don’t sign up for them.

I am hoping…it rains some more. Wendy’s baked potato and a cup of chili sounds good for lunch, no?

I am hearing… hvac, liquid nitrogen tank, ice machine, doors slamming.

Around the house… just a few dishes in the sink.

One of my favorite things… If this doesn’t make you smile…you’re weird.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… quilt and go to the Nevada Museum of Art to see Explorer, Naturalist, Artist: John James Audubon and The Birds of America
