FOR TODAY … 24 May 2011.

Outside My Window… People driving to work, Gold finches on a thistle sock I put on a tree outside my window, lots of clouds.

I am thinking… Lots of things. It’s one of those days when I have so much twirling around my brain that it almost hurts.

I am thankful for… Friends and family…they truly are an amazing gift from God.

From the kitchen…  Last night I made carnitas tacos (yes, I love carnitas tacos). Not sure about tonight. Probably some sort of baked chicken.

I am wearing… jeans, tennies, long-sleaved shirt, hair in pony-tail.

I am creating… Craft challenge for a group I haven’t visited in a while…just not in the mood to talk much over there. But it was my pattern that was voted on, so I’ll enter!

I am going… try not to worry.

I am reading… a John Saul book I picked up at a rummage sale for .25

I am hoping… for patience. I really need to breathe deep, exhale, breathe, exhale…pass out.

I am hearing… Finches outside on the feeder.

Around the house… boxes, lots of boxes down in the basement. Am hoping for a move within two months.

One of my favorite things… Lucy’s and my snuggle time 1/2 hour before getting up to shower.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… try to figure out birthday presents.
