Birds and Slugs from Fort Bragg, CA area

Pelicans, Turkey Vultures and Banana Slugs! LOL!

About sleepycathollow

I'm Michelle and live in Northern Nevada ~ beautiful mix of high desert and the Sierra. While I work at the University, I'd rather take pictures, play with fountain pensioned ink, garden, cook, craft and make quilts. :)

Slug photos before lunch = equal appetite surpressant. Thanks! 😀

    LOVE the pelican!

  2. Pam in IL says:

Looks like you’re getting good use out of your new camera! Makes me wish I had a decent camera…maybe Santa will bring me one?

  3. Your US pelicans look very svelte compared to the Australian ones. The local ones are so bulky you wonder how they ever get airborne. We went camping this weekend and saw what we think was an Eastern Great Egret at a wetlands reserve. Unfortunately we couldn’t do the wetlands walk as it was too wet due to the recent rains. The paths were wet and muddy and too yukky for normal boots.
