Enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon ~

I know that we here in Reno, Nevada will be paying dearly for the nice mild and sunny temps (we’ve already paid with two deadly devestating wildfires) that we’ve had this winter…but until then, we’ve been enjoying our time outside.

Photos taken on Sunday afternoon. Lucy and Leo were especially happy about the sunshine as they only get to go out in the backyard when we’re there with them.

A Red-Tail Hawk, at Rancho San Rafael Park…he too was enjoying the sunshine.

Your kitties are such cuties! I love the hawk photo. There is something about hawks that I like. Enjoy your time with them and I hope you have no more fires anytime soon.

  3. I got a little nervous about that hawk until I saw that he was NOT in your backyard with the kitties LOL! Gorgeous, gorgeous pix! Leo and Lucy should be calendar cats!

  4. I absolutely *love* hawks! We have a couple that live in our backyard :). We want to be outside so badly, but even though our snow has been almost nil, it is still too cold out :(.

  5. Both the cat and the red-tailed hawk are so gorgeous-looking in all that sunshine! how marvelous.
Thank you for your kind words on my site today, Michelle.

  6. Thank you everyone! 🙂

  7. Lovely photos! You’re making me want to be able to zoom! 🙂 Your cats look so happy and content, and the hawk looks so regal!

  8. Great pictures, and I can certainly feel your furball’s mood on such a glorious day! I’ve got 2 cats too and I love them to bits.
