I planted a few ranunculuses on Easter…it was a beautiful day! Sunny and warm. Can’t wait until it stays sunny and warm (not hot) but we have another blast of winter heading our way. 😦
LOL! After you wrote that I had to go look…latin being “frog”, as they grew close near water. And a very cool Native American myth has Coyote throwing his eyes up in the air over and over again until an eagle caught them and flew away. Coyote then took two ranunculus to create his new eyes.
Beautiful! However one pronounces it… ;-p
Hee.
They rival roses in their beauty! But I’d like to know who named them that!

wow–there’s no other word for it. That is imagination run rampant. Thank you for going the extra mile for me!
One of my favorite flowers! I wanted them for our wedding, but it wasn’t the right season. You’ll have to let me know how they grow!
🙂 Any flower would look good with you Blaze!
Absolutely stunning! That first picture takes my breath away!
Thank you Colleen! I love those flowers.
