Cabin Fever Quilt Show 2012, Portola, Ca ~ Part II

More quilts, wall hangings and a very cute pillow. I’ll post more later…this one is picture heavy.

This is my friend, April, and myself in the near future…underneath our stash, giving the thumbs up, and kitties wondering who’s going to feed them now.

  1. Ack, I have seen the future and it looks… painful! LOL! Wow, can’t pick a favorite in this bunch, but that giraffe quilt is terribly precious. 🙂

  2. Wow, these are fantastic!

  3. The stash avalanche is a fun quilt. I’m pretty much on a moratorium so that won’t happen to me. The exceptions are bargains that are too good to pass up and trip souvenir fabric. Have you been sewing much lately?

    • Yes…I’ve put myself on a fabric hold. I’ve been stymied on the “Nevada” quilt, heart just isn’t into it at the moment. I sewed a row of hexies last night.

      • I’ve had a bit of a break from quilts lately too, but it was a wet ANZAC Day yesterday and I got into making some Ohio Stars and had a good time working on them. The idea was to use them as spacers between my house blocks, but I’m not sure…. As soon as I get them finished I’ll throw a picture on the blog and I’ll be looking forward to your feedback. I’m very tired of house blocks but I think I might have to force myself to keep going with them for the sake of the overall design.

  4. Beautiful pieces! I really like the one with the origami looking border. That is so cool looking!
