Winter Solstice Crossroads Quilt (and mini pinwheels) ~ Kate Spain fabric

About a month ago, CRAFTSY had Kate Spain’s Solstice layer cakes on sale so I bought one. Then I saw Lori’s scrappy crossroads tutorial. Winter Crossroads was born ~

I had enough triangle snippets from Crossroads to make a Mini Winter Pinwheel quilt!

  1. I love how you’ve done the Crossroads quilt. The crosses just jump out at you. Pleased to report I finally got back on the horse, as it were and started a quiltville boxy stars quilt yesterday. My first block is looking good and I’m managing to use up some really ugly fabric from my stash. I hope it was really cheap fabric because I cant think of any other reason for buying it. It seems to work for the boxy stars tho. Blog post coming eventually.
