Not sure how big I’m going to get this…it’s now 12″x18″ in size. I find I like hand-stitching these guys using the English Paper Piecing method…until my CT kicks in and my hand goes numb. LOL! I thought I was using 1″ hexies, but looks to be 2″ from tip to tip (1.75″ from flat side to flat side).
Hi…my name is Michelle, and I’m addicted to hexagons. Boy! It sure didn’t take long either! I took to hexies faster than to a Hostess Ding Dong! 🙂
I cut out 2.5″ squares of some 1930’s repo fabric that I hadn’t packed away yet, just to play around with. Wasn’t too sure I’d like making them. Not sure what I was going to make, either. Still don’t, actually. But I do know I’m going to be pulling out some of my batik scraps and play with them! I really like hand-stitching them.
The whites look a bit pink because they still have the paper hexagons in them.
