My Christmas Tree ~ playing with Panasonic FZ150 settings and Photo Editing

I put my wee 4′ fake Christmas tree up last night (next year it’ll be a USFS cutting permit for a fir!)…and decided to play around with my new Panasonic Lumix FZ150’s settings.

The following photos were taken with the lights in the living room turned off and the Christmas tree’s lights on…no camera flash.

******

Creative Control Mode – Sepia

Creative Control Mode – Pin Hole

Creative Control Mode – Miniature Effect

Scene Mode – Candlelight

~~~~~~~~
Now for the playing around in photo shop and the NEATEST photo editing app (I have it on my iPad…and just downloaded it onto my iMac at work) Pixlr-O-Matic.
Link for Pixlr-O-Matic.
The old German glass mushrooms were run through pixlr-o-matic (Peter, Bocea, and Trashy) ~
This one through pixlr-o-matic bubble and rounded ~
The Glass Bulb had bubble, I think it’s Joshua, and dirt ~
The beaded bell…I really can’t remember! LOL!
Tale of two different sunrises
Both from my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 shot this morning here at work. Reno, Nevada.
The first, taken from the post office here on campus with the setting on night shot. True to color.
The second, taken in front of my building with the setting on Creative Expressive. The setting added yellows and did away with the blues and pinks. Not true to color.
More photos from my first outing with the Panasonic DMC-FZ150
All taken on Sunday afternoon at Rancho San Rafael Park in NW Reno, next-door to the University of Nevada. The day was overcast off and on.
